New partnership to deliver ambitious growth plans in the Middle East
Hong Kong (29 June 2020): Now Health International Group, a leading International Private Medical Insurance (IPMI) provider, and Arabia Insurance Company S.A.L, a leading Middle Eastern insurance company, have today announced a new partnership to drive forward ambitious growth plans in the Middle East.
This mutually beneficial partnership combines Now Health International’s global presence and expertise in providing high quality international health insurance solutions and state of the art digital tools, with Arabia Insurance Company S.A.L’s long-standing local knowledge and ability to deliver customised solutions in the Middle East through a specialised team of professionals dedicated to offering the best service to its customers.
Under the new partnership, Arabia Insurance Company S.A.L will insure all new and renewing business, initially in the UAE only. Now Health International will continue to administer the international health insurance plans, including claims handling and customer service support. All members will also benefit from Now Health’s award-winning digital tools.
Now Health International will continue to offer its existing products to UAE customers under the new partnership, including its flagship, benefit-rich WorldCare product, and its more affordable SimpleCare product for those looking for essential health cover. There will be no changes to plan benefits, pricing or the customer service experience.
The new partnership replaces Now Health International’s previous relationship with RSA, who will cease to offer cover on new business in the UAE from 1 August 2020. To ensure a smooth transition process for existing members, a one year run off period will be deployed, so members will be seamlessly transitioned to the new arrangements with Arabia Insurance Company S.A.L at their next plan renewal.
